FusionUpdate - 22.08.10 Children are the church of today and the church of tomorrow. After much consideration, Andrew and Leigh, our churchwardens, and Peter, our Vicar, encourage us as a fellowship to seek the Lord's guidance for an exciting vision for our children's ministry. During this time of seeking the Lord, Camel Club and Fusion will not resume (after the summer recess) until such time as the Lord directs us. Our Sunday worship will gradually adapt accordingly. There are difficulties forming a rota. For this reason, and also primarily other matters too, we made this decision in good faith based on information known to us. Camel Club and Fusion is a wonderful blessing to our church. We look forward to their resumption as soon as possible perhaps in a new style. We do sense that God is about to give birth to a new style of children's ministry which the congregation and parents will feel able to support. The young people are very precious to us at St. Paul's. They are the church of today and the church of tomorrow. Let's celebrate all God's blessings to us. Andrew, Leigh & Peter.
A great follow on from Camel Club for older children aged 11 to 14. We meet in the Vicarage starting at 9:45am joining the service at 10:30 for All-Age worship and communion. Our policy on child protection means that we do need to have details of your child as soon as they join Creche, Camel Club or Fusion.
