Take time out of the pressures and busyness of life to enjoy relaxing acoustic songs, soothing imagery and inspirational sayings, healing prayer always offered.

All are very welcome to join us as we relax into God's presence.  These Friday evenings are from 7:30pm to 8:45pm in the church.

SOAKING IN GOD’S PRESENCE”

Being still in the presence of God and allowing Him to speak to our hearts and draw us close to His heart is one of the most important things we can do.  To come apart and draw closer to Him, allowing His Word to speak to us and finding a place of rest and quiet apart from the busyness of the world we live in, and all the things that jostle for our time and energy, is such a healing and restoring experience.

Soaking evenings are very meditative and gentle events where people can come and sit or lie in the atmosphere of God’s presence and just be still and know that He is God.  Christians and non-Christians alike find these times to be a restful and peaceful opportunity to relax and experience the presence of God through music, soothing imagery and the spoken Word.

Soaking makes us more conscious of our spirits and the need to be refreshed and renewed by God’s Holy Spirit.  Taking time to just come aside and listen in this way without any agenda allows us to be taken into deeper realms of experiencing God’s love for us in an atmosphere of gentle worship and adoration.  During these times God will often speak to us and bring us revelation about His love and will for our lives.  Our flesh is very strong, and so often has a tendency to just keep busy doing all sorts of things, the discipline of soaking in God’s presence quietens our bodies and releases our spirits to soar to a higher place and to experience the glory of God and the weight of His presence upon us.

Soaking can be done privately in our own homes, but there is a special anointing when we come together and just surrender ourselves to the Lord in this way.  Not only do we reap the rewards of a greater awareness of God’s presence, but all the fruit or benefits of His presence are released into our lives.  We invite you to just enter in and enjoy!
