ABOUT SOLACE...
“Our vision is to encourage churches in worship, to enable people to be drawn into the presence of the Father through His Son Jesus Christ; and to allow the Holy Spirit to bring heavenly comfort and peace to broken and troubled hearts”
Our heart and calling is to minister in spiritual songs, psalms and to lead prophetic worship as we are drawn by the Holy Spirit into a place of intimacy with the Father. To sing over the broken-hearted and proclaim release to those who are bound. To welcome the wonderful presence of God’s Holy Spirit to have His way among us.
Our hearts desire is to journey together with God’s people into Spirit led worship that takes us into the Holy of Holies. Worship is a bridge into God’s presence and as we flow under the direction of the Holy Spirit He has something new and fresh to say to His people. The Holy Spirit is like the wind (“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” – John 3:8), and prophetic worship catches the wind of the Spirit and enables us to flow with Him.
The Holy Spirit causes our worship always to focus on Jesus. As the presence of Jesus comes in our worship there is a release of power to save, heal, deliver and set the captives free (“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted, He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and freedom to prisoners.” – Isaiah 61:1). Jesus comes in our worship and moves among His people. Many times Jesus will reach out with signs of His presence as we worship. Healings occur, salvation is released, emotional hurts are healed and deliverance comes to those who are bound.
Our prayer is “Come Holy Spirit, have Your way – glorify Jesus in the midst of our worship. Move among us with signs and wonders of the Kingdom of God as Jesus breaks through and floods us with His healing presence.”
